Abstract
When edentulous ridge has horizontal and vertical severe bone loss for implant site, we had often used augmentation material allograft, two kinds of bone, synthetic bone. When using autogenous block bone, we has bony housing after a good healing benefits of the good, but disadvantages is susceptible to infection-wise absorption of graft material. Allogeneic bone material has disadvantage that donor of the bone is uncertainty and the unpredictability of healing result. On the other hand, allogenic bone shows the results of several studies, but recent a different view exit about result. Synthetic bone uptake on the part of the bony housing or shield for the non-absorption lines, except that you need to use is to create more vulnerability to infection. Each material has advantages and disadvantages, and each time, causing horizontal and vertical bone augmentation to conduct the risk of infection or graft material, such as the absorption of the implanted material is the fact that there is a limit to choose. However, for horizontal and vertical bone augmentation bone graft materials using self-teeth (hereafter referred to as self-teeth bone) with a clear case study of the pros and cons are
still lacking. This study was a clinical case report that self-teeth bone block was used in severe bone loss area. We had try in the study about the self-healing aspect and bone healing after bone graft, bone absorption and the degree of performance on the visual inspection, palpation, using radiological methods of bone augmentation with as self-teeth bone block and the comparison of autogenous bone block.
